We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute at 1.0 mg/mL in sterile distilled water. 2 μg/lane of Recombinant Human IL-6 Protein was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) and non-reducing (N) conditions and visualized by Coomassie® Blue staining, showing the bands at 24.6 kDa under reducing conditions and 23.8 & 48.5-52.0 kDa under non-reducing conditions.
IL6 can form dimers through disulfide bands and the two bands may correspond to two conformations of IL-6 (Uniprot: P05231).
