Biochemical and Physiological Mechanisms
Antihistamine, antioxidant and antiproliferation agent. Inhibits histamine release from mast cells. Reduces TNF-α, IL-1β and LTB4 levels. Antiproliferation (IC 50 = 97 µM, HeLaS3). Shows anti-inflammatory effects in vivo . Orally active.
