Androsin is an active compound isolated from Picrorhiza Kurroa Royle ex Benth. Androsin activates AMPKα/PI3K/Beclin1/LC3 signaling pathway, inhibits SREBP1c/FASN signaling pathway. Androsin can be used in research of asthma and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).
