Overview

AUT1 is a recombinant human Kv3 channel modulator. AUT1 modulates Kv3.1b and Kv3.2a channels in human recombinant with pEC 50 values of 5.33 and 5.31 μM, respectively. AUT1 can be used for the research of disorders associated with dysfunction of inhibitory feedback in corticolimbic circuits, such as schizophrenia

In Vitro

AUT1 (1.5, 12.5, and 25 μM) modulates Kv3.1b and Kv3.2a channels in human recombinant with pEC 50 s of 5.33 and 5.31 μM, respectively. AUT1 increases whole currents mediated by human Kv3.1b and Kv3.2a channels in a concentration-dependent manner. AUT1 (10 and 30 μM) shifts both the voltage dependence of activation and inactivation of human Kv3.1b and Kv3.2a channels. AUT1 rescues (1 and 10 μM) the fast firing of EGFP-positive cortical interneurons. MCE has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
