Übersicht
Ein gebrauchsfertiges, fällendes Substratsystem für alkalische Phosphatase. Dieses Substratsystem erzeugt ein unlösliches NBT-Diformazan-Endprodukt, das eine blaue bis violette Farbe hat und visuell beobachtet werden kann. Für die immunhistochemische Färbung mit BCIP/NBT werden organische Trägermedien benötigt, und es kann mit Nuclear Fast Red oder Light Green gegengefärbt werden. BCIP/NBT ist im Allgemeinen eine empfindlichere Methode als Fast Red. Nicht empfohlen für ELISA-Verfahren (Mikrotiterplatten).
Es wurde das BCIP/NBT Flüssigsubstrat-System verwendet:
zum Anfärben von alkalischer Phosphatase (ALP) in Knochenmark-Stromazellen
als Substrat für den Western-Blot-Nachweis des spezifischen Matrix-Metalloproteinase-2-Antikörpers
als Substrat für Streptavidin-alkalische Phosphatase in den ELISpot-Tests (enzyme-linked immunospot)
