This product is specifically designed for the collection, transportation, and preservation of samples containing various bacteria and cells. It efficiently and long-term ensures the integrity of DNA molecules within the sample, providing a reliable sample foundation for subsequent molecular biology experiments.
Product Features
Long Preservation Time: Preserves DNA in samples at room temperature for up to six months, eliminating the need for special low-temperature storage conditions and facilitating long-term sample storage and transportation.
Excellent DNA Integrity: Does not cause chemical modifications to DNA molecules during preservation. Preserved DNA can be directly used for subsequent nucleic acid purification, as well as various molecular biology experiments such as enzyme digestion, electrophoresis, Southern blotting, and PCR, ensuring the accuracy of experimental results.
Safe and Reliable: This product is non-toxic and harmless, causing no harm to operators during use. It is also non-corrosive, making storage and use safer.
Easy to Use: The operation process is convenient, requiring no complex pre-treatment steps. Simply mix the fresh sample directly with this product to complete sample preservation.
Note: This product is intended for DNA preservation only. Cells preserved in this solution will become inactivated and cannot be used for subsequent cell culture experiments.
Instructions for Use
Sample Processing: Immediately place the fresh sample into this product. Follow the instructions below based on the sample type:
Liquid Samples: Mix the sample with this product at a volume ratio of 10:1 (sample: product). For example, add 1 mL of this product to 10 mL of saliva sample, or add 10 mL of this product to 100 mL of urine sample. Mix thoroughly.
Swab Samples: For samples collected using swabs (e.g., nasal, throat, urethral swabs), place a single swab directly into 1 mL of this product. Gently shake or vortex to adequately elute the sample material from the swab into the preservation solution.
Sample Storage: Store the processed sample at room temperature, protected from light, until subsequent experimental use. Avoid direct sunlight and high temperatures during storage.
DNA Extraction: Use your own routine liquid sample DNA extraction method to isolate DNA from the preservation solution.
Experimental Application: The extracted DNA can be directly used in various molecular biology experiments, including enzyme digestion, electrophoresis, Southern blotting, and PCR.
Precautions
Samples must be freshly collected and should be placed into this product as soon as possible after collection to avoid DNA degradation caused by prolonged storage.
Ensure accurate mixing ratios when combining samples. Liquid samples must be thoroughly mixed, and swab samples must be adequately eluted to guarantee effective preservation.
This product is for research use only and is not intended for clinical diagnosis.
Store sealed to avoid leakage and contamination. Keep in a cool, dry place, away from fire sources and oxidizing agents.
It is recommended to wear gloves during operation to avoid direct contact with samples and the preservation solution. Wash hands promptly after handling.
