Cupferron (Cup) is an ammonium salt of N-nitroso-N-phenylhydroxylamine. It acts as an organic chelation reagent[1] by co-ordinating through the oxygen atoms. Its radiomimetic effect is reported to be affected by the pH and temperature of the treatment solution.
