Equipment: Move The basic procedure for blood smears can be divided into the following steps: A Using two clean slides with smooth edges, drop a freshly separated blood sample directly onto nearly 1/3 of one of the slides, usually 5 to 10 μl, and then touch the edge of the other slide to the blood to make a line of blood and then push it away from the other side at an angle of 30° to 45° in a uniform and stable manner, and then push it out uniformly to form a successful blood smear, which can be used for staining and counting of blood cells (Fig. 8-1-5).
