Materials and Instruments
95 % C2H5OH Concentrated H2SO4 H2SO4 Br2∕CCl4 KMnO4 NaOH Move Caveat 1. It is not necessary to collect the ethylene produced, but to pass the tube directly into the test tube where the experiments on properties are to be carried out.The ethylene is then placed at the end of the test tube. 2. disconnect the conduit between the NaOH and the flask after the experiment to avoid backsiphoning, and then extinguish the flame. 3. use a large amount of concentrated sulfuric acid to prevent burns and scattering on the table and floor. Distillation flask Filtering tube Thermometer Measuring cylinder
Apparatus: 1. 125 mL distillation flask (non-standard mouth); 2. Filter-drawing test tubes; 3. Thermometer (300 °C); 4. Measuring cylinders 30 mL, 50 mL
Drugs: 95 % C2H5OH; Concentrated H2SO4; 10 % H2SO4; 1 % Br2∕CCl4; 0.1 % KMnO4; 10 % NaOH
1. Preparation:
Add 4 mL of 95 % ethanol, 12 mL of concentrated sulfuric acid (add and cool while shaking), and a few grains of zeolites to a 125-mL flask. 95 % ethanol, 12 mL of concentrated sulfuric acid (shaken and cooled as it was added) and a few grains of zeolite, and a stopper with a thermometer (200 °C) was put in place. After checking that the device is not leaking, heat the reactants strongly so that the temperature of the reactants rises rapidly to 160~170 °C. Adjust the flame to keep the temperature in this range so that the ethylene stream occurs uniformly, and estimate that the air has been exhausted, make the following experiments on the following properties.
