Formamide Loading Buffer (2×) is a 2-fold concentrated loading buffer specifically designed for RNA electrophoresis. It is primarily composed of deionized formamide, bromophenol blue, EDTA, and other components, with bromophenol blue serving as the electrophoresis tracking dye. When diluted to 1×, the buffer has a relatively high density, allowing samples to quickly settle into the wells, resulting in clear and easily observable electrophoretic band migration. For use, simply mix the sample with the buffer; no further dilution is required. For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures or other purposes.
Procedure (For Reference Only)
Mix the RNA sample with an equal volume of Formamide Loading Buffer (2×).
Directly load the mixture into the wells of a denaturing RNA gel for electrophoresis.
Notes
If the single-use volume is small, it is recommended to aliquot the reagent before use to reduce the risk of contamination.
Strictly avoid RNase contamination throughout the entire experimental procedure.
Please wear laboratory appropriate attire and disposable gloves during operation to ensure experimental safety.
Use the reagent as soon as possible after opening and keep it sealed to avoid affecting experimental results.
