PPARδ/γ agonist 1 sodium (1 mg/kg; i.g. once daily for 16 days) restores STZ-mediated impairments of motor function . MCE has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only. Animal Model: STZ-mediated Long Evans rats Dosage: 1 mg/kg Administration: Oral gavage; 1 mg/kg once daily, for 16 days Result: Improved performance in STZ-mediated rats and showed neuroprotective for both granule and Purkinje cells.
