Overview

Aladdin IgG Elution Buffer (1x), pH 2.7, is a ready-to-use, amine-based acidic solution designed for the efficient dissociation and recovery of purified antibodies from Protein A, Protein G, Protein A/G, and Protein L affinity supports. This low-pH buffer enables high-yield elution under denaturing conditions and is suitable for a wide range of antibody-antigen or protein-protein affinity purification systems.

Key Features

  • High-Efficiency Elution: Effectively dissociates bound antibodies from all major IgG-binding proteins under low-pH conditions.

  • Ready-to-Use: Pre-diluted 1× solution requires no preparation—ideal for fast and consistent workflows.

  • Broad Compatibility: Suitable for eluting antibodies in both singleplex and multiplex affinity purification workflows.

  • Consistent Performance: Pre-adjusted to pH 2.7 to ensure reproducible elution profiles across applications.

  • Versatile Application: Also effective in antigen-antibody or general protein-protein interaction studies.

Applications

  • Antibody elution in IgG purification using Protein A, G, A/G, or L resins

  • Ideal for research and development-scale immunoaffinity purification

  • Compatible with manual and automated chromatography systems

  • Suitable for elution in most antigen-antibody affinity purification setups

Instructions for Use

  1. After sample binding and washing steps, apply Aladdin IgG Elution Buffer (1×), pH 2.7, to the affinity resin.

  2. Incubate briefly (typically 1-10 minutes) for complete antibody dissociation.

  3. Collect eluate fractions and immediately neutralize using an appropriate buffer (e.g., 1 M Tris-HCl, pH 9.0) to preserve antibody activity.

  4. For optimal performance, combine with Aladdin’s matching IgG Binding Buffers for a seamless workflow.

Notes

  • Avoid prolonged exposure of antibodies to low-pH conditions to prevent denaturation.

  • Neutralize eluted fractions promptly for maximum antibody recovery and stability.

  • For sensitive antibodies, consider Aladdin’s Gentle Ag/Ab Elution Buffer (near-neutral, high-salt).
