Titanium is a transition metal widely found in nature, closely共生 with iron, and there is a certain correlation between the two. Titanium in soil plays a very important physiological role in plants; sufficient titanium can ensure increased fruiting rate, reduced blight rate, and enhance plant resistance to damage.
Determination principle: Under acidic conditions, diantipyrylmethane forms a yellow complex with titanium ions, which has a characteristic absorption peak at 390 nm. The color intensity is proportional to the concentration of titanium ions within a certain range.
