1、Product attribute
pH Range: 7.2 - 7.6
Preservative: Azide
Boiling point : 100℃
Appearance: Colorless liquid
Density (20℃) : 1.0251 g/cm³
2、Requirements for storage rooms and vessels
1.Keep container tightly closed.
2.Keep cool.
3.Keep/Store only in original container.
4.Never return spills in original containers for reuse.
5. Keep away from: Food and feeding stuffs
6. It is possible to transport the solution at ambient temperature, unless it does not exceed 30 °C. The transport should take less than one week.
3、Effective Components and Principle of Function
It is a phosphate buffered solution containing bovine serum albumin as blocking reagent, protein stabilizing substances and azide as preservative.
During the coating of micro titration plates or other plastic surfaces with reactive proteins for immunological reactions, parts of the surfaces may stay uncoated. Due to avoid non specific reactions in the test system, these parts will be blocked with albumin, which is contained in this product in high excess.
Special additives of this product additionally stabilize the protein structure and therewith preserve protein functionality during storage of the coated micro titration plate or other coated plastic surfaces.
4、 Biosafety information
Azide is dangerous for water organisms and may form explosives in connection with heavy metal ions.
This mixture is not classified as hazardous in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008;
Hazardous components:none (according to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH));
This mixture does not contain any substances which either present a health or environmental hazard according to Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 or have an occupational exposure limit assigned
5、 Advantage
1. Postcoating solution for stabilizing solid phase adsorbed proteins;
2. Effective reduction of nonspecific binding
6、 Instruction for usage
1. Any handling to fill in other vessels or splitting has to be done under sterile conditions.
2. Frozen solutions have to be mixed thoroughly after thawing and can be used without restriction afterwards.
3.Solutions showing turbidity should not be used. Since this might be a sign of microbial contamination.
4. Only qualified staff, who are familiar with the production of immunological tests, is permitted to handle this product.
5. Depending from the reactive protein aspirate after coating or wash once with PBS or blocking solution.
6. Wells of micro titration plates should be filled with 200 to 300 µl undiluted this product and incubated for one hour at room temperature. The volume of the blocking solution has to be higher than the volume of the coating solution as well as the intended test volume.
7. Aspirate this product to finish the blocking process. Optional wash once with deionized water. Dry the surfaces at a dust free place at room temperature or 37°C and seal airtight, in a pouch with addition of desiccant (silicagel).
