Trimethylolpropantriglycidylether (TMPTE) ist ein trifunktionales aliphatisches Glycidylether-Epoxidmonomer, das hauptsächlich als Vernetzungsmittel verwendet wird und chemische und mechanische Beständigkeit bietet.

Anwendung

Zusatzstoff in schnell härtenden Klebstoffen, bei niedrigen Temperaturen aushärtenden Beschichtungen und harten, abriebfesten Guss- und Decoupage-Systemen.

TMPTE wird bei der Synthese von azidiertem Trimethylolpropantriglycidylether für die Herstellung von hyperverzweigten Polyurethanen auf Polyetherpolyolbasis verwendet. TMPTE kann mit Poly(4-venylphenol) (PVP) vernetzt werden, um organische Feldeffekttransistoren (OFETs) herzustellen, die auf Polycarbonat-Chips aufgebracht werden, um die chemische Beständigkeit gegenüber verschiedenen organischen Lösungsmitteln zu verbessern
