Overview

Adenosine diphosphate (ADP) is a nucleotide compound composed of one molecule of adenosine and two linked phosphate groups. It has a molecular weight of 427.2 and a CAS number of 58-64-0. In living organisms, ADP is the direct product of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) after it releases energy through hydrolysis, specifically when ATP breaks one high-energy phosphate bond and loses one phosphate group.

This product consists of ADP, Tris-HCl buffer, and deionized water, at a concentration of 1 mmol/L. It is mainly used for:

  • Preparation of polynucleotides

  • Determination of pyruvate kinase activity

Procedure (For Reference Only)

Operate according to the specific requirements of the experiment.

Precautions

  1. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing, as this may reduce the efficiency of ADP.

  2. This product is for research use only and is not intended for direct human application or clinical diagnosis.

  3. For your safety and health, please wear a lab coat and disposable gloves during operation.
