como inhibidor de la proteasa en muestras de plasma para evitar la degradación de la ghrelina acilada (AG)
como inhibidor de la serina proteinasa del veneno de serpiente (SVSP) en ensayos de inhibición de SVSP o de AEBSF para comprobar la implicación de las SVSP en la actividad de coagulación del fibrinógeno
como componente del tampón de lisis NP-40 para resuspender pellets celulares para preparar lisados celulares
Las concentraciones de uso recomendadas son de 0,1-1 mM
