Overview
This kit employs an NADH‑coupled chromogenic method for the rapid and sensitive determination of glucose dehydrogenase (GCDH) activity. Compared with the traditional direct measurement at 340 nm (which suffers from low sensitivity and high interference), this method utilizes the NADH generated by GCDH catalysis to react with a chromogenic reagent, producing a colored product with a characteristic absorption peak at 450 nm. By measuring the rate of formation of this product—which is directly proportional to the enzyme activity—the GCDH activity can be efficiently calculated.
