Nutrient Broth Medium (NB) is used for the cultivation, sub‑culturing, rejuvenation and enrichment of common bacteria.
Principle and Purpose: Peptone and beef extract powder supply essential nutrients for bacterial growth, including nitrogen sources, vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Sodium chloride maintains balanced osmotic pressure.
Preparation Method: Weigh 18.0 g of this product and dissolve it in 1 L of purified water. Heat and stir until completely dissolved, dispense into containers, autoclave at 115 °C for 30 min, cool and set aside for later use.

Precautions:
