Product introduction
DTT is similar to mercaptoethanol, and it is a reducing agent and deprotection agent for sulfhydryl DNA. 1M DTT solution (in water) is often used as a basic component to reduce disulfide bonds in protein, which has antioxidant effect. The pungent odor and toxicity of DTT are much lower than those of mercaptoethanol.
Usage
1 according to the specific requirements of the experiment.
Scope of use
Applicable to general biology and medical research
Product use
Dithiothreitol is an effective reducing agent for protein analysis. When preparing samples for electrophoresis or other applications, sealed ampoules are more convenient and easy to use, and waste and loss of efficacy can be avoided.
Comprehensive hazard, handling, storage, and regulatory compliance document.
