Overview
H₂O₂ is an important reactive oxygen species (ROS) in cells. Changes in its content reflect the oxidative stress status of the organism and are closely associated with various physiological and pathological processes. The assay principle of this kit is as follows: In the presence of peroxidase and a specific fluorescent substrate, H₂O₂ undergoes a redox reaction to generate a fluorescent product. The fluorescence intensity of this product at an excitation wavelength of 535 nm and an emission wavelength of 587 nm is directly proportional to the H₂O₂ concentration in the sample.
