Overview
This kit employs an HK/G6PDH-coupled enzymatic method for the determination of glucose content. Glucose is sequentially catalyzed by hexokinase and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, reducing NADP⁺ to NADPH, which exhibits a characteristic absorption peak at 340 nm. By measuring the increase in NADPH absorbance at this wavelength, which is proportional to the glucose content, the glucose concentration in the sample can be quantified.
