Streptomycin belongs to the family of aminoglycoside antibiotics and inhibits bacterial growth by inhibiting protein synthesis.Penicillin (Penicillin G) inhibits bacterial growth by inhibiting peptidoglycan synthesis. Streptomycin belongs to the family of aminoglycoside antibiotics, and inhibits bacterial growth by inhibiting protein synthesis.
