Aluminum terephthalate is an Ultramicroporous metal framework (MOF). Aluminum terephthalate is a microporous metal organic framework (MOF) consisting of 3D Networks with micropores up to 900 PM in diameter. Because it contains octahedral alo4 (OH) 2 units linked by dimethyl 1,4-benzoate ligands, it has the same properties as MIL-53 (AL). It can form a framework with a specific surface area of 1084 2g-1 and a pore volume of about 0.51 cm2g-1.
Product Application
Aluminum terephthalate is mainly used for co2/ch4 and co2/n2 binary gas separation. It can also be used for gas adsorption (hydrogen) and supercritical adsorption of CO2. Separation of C8 alkyl aromatic compounds using aluminum terephthalate.
