Overview
Ceruloplasmin is a copper-containing protein primarily found in blood, carrying approximately 70% of the circulating copper. This protein possesses oxidase activity and serves as an important antioxidant in extracellular fluids. This product is specifically developed for the detection of plasma ceruloplasmin, featuring simple operation, high sensitivity, and accurate results.
The detection principle is as follows: ceruloplasmin catalyzes the oxidation of o-dianisidine dihydrochloride to generate a colored product, which exhibits a characteristic absorption peak at 460 nm. Based on the definition of enzyme activity, the ceruloplasmin activity in the sample can be calculated.
