Overview

Hemicellulase is produced by refined submerged fermentation using a high-yield strain of Aspergillus niger obtained through mutagenesis and screening. Hemicellulose, a major component of plant cell walls, is a heterogeneous polymer composed of several types of monosaccharides, including pentoses and hexoses such as xylan, mannan, and galactan.
The main component of this hemicellulase product is mannanase, which functions to degrade hemicellulose and eliminate anti-nutritional factors. This enzyme can be widely used in food, feed, textile, paper, petroleum, and other industries.
Product Characteristics
The applicable pH range for hemicellulase is 3.0–6.5, with an optimum pH of 3.5–5.0. The temperature range is 30–70°C, with an optimum temperature of 40–55°C.
Enzyme Activity (β-mannanase Activity)
One unit (U) of β-mannanase activity is defined as the amount of enzyme required to release 1 μmol of reducing sugar per minute from a 3 mg/mL mannan solution at 37°C and pH 5.5.
Usage Method
The recommended dosage is 0.01–1.0 kg per ton of raw material. The specific addition method and dosage should be determined through experiments.
Safety Precautions
Enzyme preparations are proteins. Inhalation of dust or aerosols may cause allergic reactions. Prolonged contact with certain enzymes may irritate the skin, eyes, and mucous membranes; splashing or vigorous agitation may generate respirable dust. It is recommended to wear protective clothing, gloves, and eye or face protection.
Storage and Handling Notes

This product is an active biological preparation. During transportation and storage, it should be kept away from light, at low temperature, in a dry and well-ventilated environment.
