Overview

This product is a white, high-purity reagent silica gel with specified pore volume, specific surface area, pore distribution, and a certain particle size distribution. Thin layer chromatography stationary phase without gypsum and organic binders. The physical properties are white powder with different micro void structures and surface areas. Can absorb moisture from the air. Soluble in hydrofluoric acid and hot alkaline solutions, insoluble in water and other inorganic acids. Its adsorption performance is caused by the silanol groups on the surface, which can form hydrogen bonds with polar compounds and adsorb. It can be used as a stationary phase for adsorption chromatography, and after containing water, it can be used as a stationary phase for distribution chromatography. Thin layer chromatography silica gel is widely used for the analysis and separation of various natural synthetic substances. Widely used in the qualitative and quantitative analysis of major components or trace impurities in medicine, pesticides, Chinese herbal medicine, organic chemical products, petrochemical products, as well as grain and food, and in the purification and preparation of certain substances.
