GRADE & PURITYSuitable for molecular biology?Molecular-biology grade — free of nucleases and contaminants that degrade DNA/RNA. Use in cloning, PCR, and nucleic-acid work needing clean reagents.BioReagent?BioReagent grade — tested suitable for life-science and molecular-biology use. Use for cell culture, assays, and biochemical work needing biological compatibility.RNase free?RNase-free — verified without RNase activity to protect fragile RNA. Use in RNA extraction, RT-PCR, and any RNA-sensitive workflow.Sterile?Sterile grade — processed and verified free of viable microorganisms. Use directly in aseptic procedures and cell culture without further sterilization.for DNA and RNA applications? For nucleic-acid (DNA & RNA) applications — nuclease-controlled across both. Overview
SSC Buffer is primarily composed of sodium chloride and sodium citrate. It is suitable for various nucleic acid hybridization experiments, including RNA hybridization (Northern blot) and DNA hybridization (Southern blot).
SSC Buffer (20×, pH 7.0, RNase Free) is a concentrated buffer with a pH value of approximately 7.0. It has been treated to be RNase-free and then sterilized by autoclaving. It is primarily used for RNA hybridization.
For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
Instructions (For Reference Only)
Based on the experimental requirements, take an appropriate amount of SSC Buffer (20×, pH 7.0, RNase Free) and dilute it to 1× with DEPC-treated water before use.
Precautions
If the volume required for a single use is small, it is recommended to aliquot the reagent before use to reduce the risk of contamination and repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Please wear laboratory attire and disposable gloves during operation to ensure experimental safety.
Once opened, use the reagent promptly and seal it properly for storage to avoid compromising future experimental results.
