Overview
Vitamin B₁ (thiamine) is a water-soluble vitamin that can be oxidized under alkaline conditions to form thiochrome, which emits blue fluorescence. This kit employs the thiochrome fluorescence method to quantitatively determine vitamin B₁ content by measuring the fluorescence intensity at an excitation wavelength of 365 nm and an emission wavelength of 435 nm. Interfering substances in the sample can be removed by adsorption with zeolite. This reagent is for research use only and is not intended for clinical diagnosis.
