Overview

 This product is a colorimetric chromogenic substrate highly specific for Factor Xa (FXa). The sequence Z-D-Arg-Gly-Arg is selectively recognized and cleaved by FXa, releasing p-nitroanilide (pNA), which produces a characteristic yellow absorbance at 405 nm. The change in absorbance is proportional to FXa activity, enabling quantitative measurement.

Molecular Weight: 714.6

Sequence: Z-D-Arg-Gly-Arg-pNA·2HCl

Formula: C₂₈H₄₁Cl₂N₁₁O₇

Key Applications
  • Clinical Testing:Anti-FXa activity assay for heparins (unfractionated/LMWH); antithrombin (AT) activity measurement;
  • Drug Discovery:Screening and evaluation of FXa inhibitors (e.g., rivaroxaban-type);
  • Basic Research:Coagulation pathway mechanisms; enzyme kinetics (Km, Kcat) studies;
  • Automated Systems:Substrate for coagulation analyzers; raw material for IVD kit development。
