Adrenocorticotropic Hormone (ACTH) (18-39), human TFA is a corticotrophin-like peptide produced in melanocytotropic cells in the middle lobe of the pituitary gland

Adrenocorticotropic Hormone Fragment 18-39 human (CLIP) is a hormone which stimulates the release of insulin. Studies indicate that fragments of ACTH can antagonize opiate receptors. Adrenocorticotropic Hormone Fragment 18-39 human is a tool used to monitor rapid eye movement sleep in rats due to its endogenous hypnogenic factors. Furthermore, CLIP can be used as an intermediate in the production of ACTH22-39.
