Overview

Alginate Oligosaccharides (AOS): Functional oligosaccharides produced via controlled depolymerization of alginate, with a degree of polymerization ranging from 2 to 10. Alginate: A naturally abundant polysaccharide isolated from brown algae, consisting of linear chains of randomly arranged β-D-mannuronic acid (M) and α-L-guluronic acid (G) residues. Functional Characteristics of Alginate Oligosaccharides: Stimulates endogenous biosynthesis of auxins and gibberellins in plants, boosting their contents by 5–8 fold to accelerate rooting, germination and vegetative growth. Upregulates plant immune-related signaling substances including salicylic acid, abscisic acid and jasmonic acid, improving resistance against bacterial and viral infections. Enhances fertilizer efficacy while alleviating phytotoxicity from excess fertilizers; improves pesticide performance and mitigates chemical phytotoxicity caused by agrochemicals. Onset of action within 3 minutes, visible agronomic effects in 3 days and optimal outstanding efficacy after 30 days.
