Overview

PEG11 is a polymer consisting of 11 ethylene glycol subunits and two terminal hydroxyl groups. The hydroxyl groups can be reacted to further derivatize the compound. The hydrophilic PEG linkers increase the water solubility of the compound under aqueous environments. The water solubility properties of the PEG chain are enhanced with longer chains.
