Overview

Unique perfluoropolyether vacuum oil is biologically and chemically inert, resists water, and is insoluble in most organic solvents. FOMBLIN Y has good dielectric properties and is compatible with plastomers, elastomers, and most metals over a wide temperature range. Has low vapor pressure, volatility, and surface tension. Also has high specific gravity, stability, and thermal resistance. 317985 and 317993 have very low dust and moisture content, making them ideal for high-purity applications. Thoroughly clean pump of any old fluid before adding Fomblin Y.
