Methyl pentadecanoate is the methyl ester of the 15-carbon fatty acid pentadecanoic acid. Methyl pentadecanoate is a naturally occurring fatty acid derivative that has been identified in ethanolic extracts of Azadirachta indica A. Juss. fruit coatings and in Amycolatopsis sulphurea samples.
