The main components of this product are diatomaceous earth, kaolin, silica powder, thrombin, silicone oil, anhydrous ethanol, etc. Each component is proportioned according to a scientific ratio to ensure a stable coagulation-promoting effect without interfering with clinical testing.
This product is a light yellow turbid liquid, which may precipitate upon standing. It accelerates blood coagulation and has no impact on clinical biochemical tests.
Scope of Application
This product can be used in the preparation of vacuum blood collection tubes and syringe-based blood collection tubes for clinical medical laboratory work. Laboratory personnel can perform blood sample collection, rapid serum separation, and sample transfer within a single container, improving testing efficiency.
Coagulation Principle
This product activates certain coagulation factors in plasma and platelets, promoting the generation of thromboplastin and fibrin clots, and accelerating the contraction of blood cell clots. This enables rapid serum separation, meeting the timeliness requirements of clinical testing.
Coagulation Capacity
At 25°C, 20μl of this product can rapidly coagulate 5ml of blood within 3-5 minutes. After coagulation, allow the blood to stand for 15-20 minutes before centrifuging to separate the serum (recommended centrifugation conditions: Relative Centrifugal Force (RCF) = 1200-1500g, centrifugation time: 8-10 minutes). After centrifugation, the blood clot retracts well, providing an adequate volume of separated serum with excellent separation quality, without interfering with subsequent testing of the blood sample. If the ambient temperature is below 20°C, the standing time after blood collection can be appropriately extended to ensure a good coagulation-promoting effect.
Usage and Dosage
1. This product can be applied using machine spraying. During the application process, continuous stirring is required to maintain the uniformity of the turbid liquid and ensure consistent addition of each active ingredient.
2. Mechanical stirring, electromagnetic stirring, or pneumatic stirring can be used to maintain the uniformity of the turbid liquid. The stirring speed should be adjusted according to the actual operational conditions.
3. After application, the coagulant needs to be dried (water-based coagulants do not require drying). Hot air drying is recommended, with the temperature controlled at 60-70°C. Dry using two sets of hot air tubes for 3 cycles, each lasting 2 seconds, until completely dry.
4. If irradiation sterilization is required, the recommended irradiation dose is 8-25 kGy.
5. Dosage Standard: Generally, 20μl of this product can rapidly coagulate 5ml of blood, with a dosage error range controlled within ±10%. Specific recommended dosages are shown in the table below:
| Blood Sample Volume | Recommended Dosage |
| 3-4 mL | 15 μL |
| 5-7 mL | 20 μL |
| 8-15 mL | 30 μL |
Precautions
Insufficient blood coagulation may lead to blood cells and fibrin strands adhering to the tube wall, or mild hemolysis. If coagulation is incomplete in some patient blood samples, it may result in the coagulation process stopping, fibrin precipitation, or no serum separation after centrifugation.
If centrifugation is performed less than 15 minutes after coagulation, it may lead to secondary precipitation of fibrin strands, which will float in the serum and can easily cause probe blockage in testing instruments.
This product must be stored sealed, with the ambient temperature not exceeding 35°C. Low-temperature storage better preserves its coagulation-promoting activity. The shelf life is 3 years.
