In Vitro
GW 766994 is a specific chemokine receptor-3 (CCR3) antagonist, which has entered clinical trial for asthma and eosinophilic bronchitis. GW 766994 (10 μM) reverses CCL11-induced activation of CDK5, phosphorylations of CDK5, GSK3β, and increased phosphorylation of tau in hippocampal neurons.
