This product is prepared from whole blood of healthy yellow cattle via EDTA anticoagulation followed by low-temperature centrifugation, fully retaining plasma proteins, electrolytes, metabolites, lipids and other components. EDTA chelates calcium ions to achieve long-term anticoagulation and stabilize blood cell morphology. It is widely used in research experiments including extraction of native plasma-derived proteins and enrichment of recombinant heterologous proteins.
Main Components:
Plasma proteins (albumin, immunoglobulins, fibrinogen, etc.), electrolytes (sodium, calcium, chloride ions, etc.), metabolites (glucose, urea) and lipids.
Appearance & Physical Characteristics:
Slightly viscous, pale yellow clear liquid. A small amount of white precipitate is acceptable after thawing from frozen storage at -30°C ~ -10°C.
Manufacturing Process:
Whole blood is aseptically collected from healthy bovine blood vessels into blood collection bags preloaded with EDTA anticoagulant. After thorough mixing, plasma is separated by centrifugation.
Stability:
The product remains stable and reliable under recommended storage conditions.
Main Applications:
1. Supply essential nutrients for microbial growth.
2. Pathogen detection: Serve as basal medium substrate for isolation and identification of bacteria and fungi.
3. Immunological and biomedical research on antibody and complement: Applied in complement fixation tests; used as raw material for turbidimetric immunoassays to quantify antibody titer.

Scope of Application:
1. Vaccine development: Provide nutritional supplements for cell culture to produce bacterial and viral vaccines.
2. Diagnostic reagents: Raw material for coagulation testing kits (routine four-item coagulation panel, D-Dimer assay, etc.).

Storage and Thawing Instructions:
Store in a clean cold room at -30°C ~ -10°C. Handle gently during transit to avoid damage to packaging and containers. Storage at 4°C must not exceed one month.
After removal from frozen storage, thaw the plasma in a refrigerator at 2°C–8°C first, then shake evenly at ambient temperature until fully liquefied. Prompt use is recommended once completely thawed. Prolonged storage at 2–8°C may trigger agglutination of plasma lipoproteins (cold agglutinins, fibrinogen, vitronectin, etc.), resulting in precipitate or visible turbidity.
