Product application:

2-Deoxy-D-ribose 5-Phosphate Disodium Salt is used in the chemoenzymatic preparation of deoxyribonucleosides as starting materials in the enzymic preparation of natural and modified purine and pyrimidine nucleosides. It is used in the synthesis of 2-Oxo-3-deoxy-6-phosphogluconate (ODPG) aldolase which is useful as a catalyst in organic synthesis.

2-Deoxyribose 5-phosphate is used as a substrate to identify, differentiate and characterize deoxyribose-phosphate aldolase(s). It is used for the synthesis of 2′-deoxyribonucleoside building blocks for the synthesis of antisense drugs and antiviral nucleosides
