Overview

This product is an optimized blend of multiple protease and phosphatase inhibitors. During protein extraction and purification, a single solution effectively prevents protein degradation by endogenous proteases and phosphatases. Its components include Aprotinin, Bestatin, Leupetin, E-64, NaF, Sodium Orthovanadate, Sodium Pyrophosphate, and β-glycerophosphate, among other protease and phosphatase inhibitors. It is widely applicable for protein purification, Western blotting, co-immunoprecipitation (Co-IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and kinase assays.
As it does not contain interference-prone substances like AEBSF, this product is compatible with mass spectrometry (MS) analysis.
Protocol
Suitable for various protein quantification or activity analysis experiments (e.g., Western Blot, Co-IP, Pull-down, IF, IHC) to protect proteins from degradation by proteases and phosphatases.
Dilute the inhibitor cocktail 1:100 (v/v) into the target solution (e.g., cell lysis buffer, protein extraction buffer).
Precautions
The recommended dilution ratio of 1:100 is suitable for general use. Adjust the concentration accordingly if the sample contains high levels of proteases or phosphatases.
This product does not contain EDTA. If required, add EDTA separately.
This product does not contain Pepstatin A. To inhibit acid proteases, add Pepstatin A separately.
This is a high-concentration solution. Long-term storage may result in the formation of trace crystalline precipitates, which is normal and does not affect experimental results.
For safety, wear a lab coat and disposable gloves during handling. All inhibitors are toxic to humans—avoid direct skin contact. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. If ingested, seek medical attention immediately.
For research use only.
