Overview
Inosine is an atypical nucleotide that primarily exists in monophosphate form.It has the ability to pair with deoxythymine, deoxyadenine, and deoxyguanine bases. It possesses the ability to pair with deoxythymine, deoxyadenine, and deoxyguanine bases.Inosine has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective functions.Inosine is prescribed as a therapeutic supplement for nerve injury, inflammation, and oxidative stress. It modulates biological processes through adenosine receptors. It promotes the growth of depressive neurons through adenosine receptors.Inosine is also used to treat sepsis in infections.
Inosine has been used for:
As a medium supplement for nucleotide rescue experiments in pancreatic cancer cells.
As the components of the two preference tests of synthetic medium and larvae.
Inosine is an endogenous purine nucleoside produced by catabolism of adenosine. Inosine has anti-inflammatory, antinociceptive, immunomodulatory and neuroprotective effects. Inosine is an agonist for adenosine A1 (A1R) and A2A (A2AR) receptors.
