Carboxypeptidase B (Carboxypeptidase B), also known as peptidyl - L - lysine (L - arginine) hydrolase and arginase, is a metalloprotease that can specifically hydrolyze basic amino acids (lysine, arginine, histidine) at the C - terminus of proteins.
Enzymatic cleavage site: Carboxypeptidase B specifically hydrolyzes the amino terminus of basic amino acids (lysine (Lysine, K), arginine (Arginine, R), histidine (Histidine, H)) at the C - terminus of proteins.
Amino acid sequence: Yaxin recombinant carboxypeptidase B is produced by recombinant Escherichia coli expression, and its amino acid sequence is completely consistent with that of rat pancreatic carboxypeptidase B.
Enzymological properties: It has the same enzymological properties as animal - derived carboxypeptidase B and can replace animal - derived carboxypeptidase B in various biotechnology processes.
Basic characteristics: Also known as peptidyl - L - lysine (L - arginine) hydrolase; arginase. The molecular weight is 33.8 kD, the isoelectric point is 6.0, and the optimal pH is 7.5 - 9.0. Its activity is competitively inhibited by arginine and lysine, and metal ion chelators such as EDTA inhibit the enzyme activity.
Usage Method
Dissolution: Dissolve to a final concentration of 1 - 10 mg/ml in pure water or 25 mM Tris - HCl (pH 7.5 - 8.0).
Usage: Enzyme amount: target protein = 1:20 - 1:100 (w:w), and the optimal enzymatic cleavage pH is 7.0 - 9.0.
Storage Stability
The lyophilized powder of recombinant carboxypeptidase B is stable for 24 months when stored at 2 - 8°C; after being dissolved in sterile water or 25 mM Tris - HCl (pH 7.6) and stored at - 20°C, there is no loss of activity after repeated freezing and thawing for 10 times.
Product Advantages
Sequence - analyzed pure protease: high specificity and good stability.
Animal - free origin: produced by recombination, free from exogenous virus contamination, and no animal - derived raw materials are used in the production process.
Stable quality: mass production can ensure stable and continuous batch production; there is no difference between product batches, and the quality is stable.
High purity: high specific activity; residual host protein is lower than the limit requirements for biological products.
Lyophilized powder: easy to store and transport.
Compliance with regulatory requirements: production equipment and production environment meet relevant regulatory requirements, and the production process fully follows the NSF ISO 9001:2015 quality system and conforms to GMP guidelines.
Complete quality documents: relevant regulatory support documents can be provided according to customer needs.
