Overview
Urofollitropin is a natural gonadotropin secreted by the human adenohypophysis. It promotes the development and maturation of ovarian follicles, stimulates follicular estrogen secretion, and induces endometrial hyperplasia in females. When used in combination with human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG), it facilitates ovulation, corpus luteum formation, and progesterone secretion.
Functional Introduction
This product is a gonadotropin. Clinically, it is primarily indicated for the treatment of infertility in women due to functional anovulation, and for oligospermia or asthenospermia in men caused by low hormone levels.
