This preservation solution contains formalin, iodine, potassium iodide and other ingredients. It cannot maintain the natural pigment of algae samples. If long-term color retention is required, transfer the specimens into color-preserving solution for permanent preservation after being treated with this solution for 1 to 2 days.

This reagent is only for scientific research use and is not applicable to clinical diagnosis or other purposes.
