Overview
Aminooxy-PEG3-methyl ester is a PEG derivative containing aminooxy and methyl ester moieties. The aminooxy group can react with an aldehyde to form an oxime bond. If a reductant is used, it will form a hydroxylamine linkage. Methyl ester can be hydrolyzed under strong basic condition. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media.
