Astragalus polysaccharides are water-soluble heteropolysaccharides extracted, concentrated, and purified from the dried roots of leguminous plants such as Astragalus membranaceus or Astragalus membranaceus. They are light yellow in color, finely powdered, uniform without impurities, and have hygroscopicity. Astragalus polysaccharides are composed of hexuronic acid, glucose, fructose, rhamnose, arabinose, galacturonic acid, and glucuronic acid, and can be used as immune enhancers or modulators. They also have antiviral, anti-tumor, anti-aging, anti radiation, anti stress, antioxidant and other effects.
