How should closed-cap cell culture flasks be used? What is the difference between the use of the lid with the filter membrane?

How should closed-cap cell culture flasks be used? What is the difference between the use of the lid with the filter membrane?

The cell culture bottle with the airtight cap provided a closed cell culture environment. If the cell culture bottle needed to be connected to the air in the incubator, the cap should be loosened slightly after the culture bottle was placed in the incubator to allow air entry. Similarly, when taking out, it is necessary to tighten the cap before taking out. The lid with the filter membrane itself has the function of air permeability, and the filter membrane can prevent microbial contamination. Therefore, when using, you can directly tighten the bottle cap into the incubator, but you need to pay attention to not wet the filter membrane on the bottle cap, and the wet filter membrane can not ensure the gas through.
