Overview
Below 35-40 °C, gelatin swells in and absorbs 5-10 times its weight of water to form a gel. Gelatin is more soluble in hot than in cold water. If visible floaters or cloudiness is evident, solution may be warmed in 45°C water bath for 10 minutes to achieve clear, colorless solution.
