This Blocking Reagent is specially developed to eliminate interference caused by heterophilic antibodies and rheumatoid factors in immunoassays. It is applicable to various immunoassay systems, effectively removing immune interference, improving assay reliability, and reducing the incidence of false positive and false negative results.
Recommendations for Use
1. The recommended working concentration of the blocker ranges from 30 to 300 μg/mL. The final working concentration shall be determined by gradient titration tests. For first-time use, start with a relatively high concentration; after verified effectiveness, perform serial dilution to a lower concentration to select an optimal and cost-effective working concentration.
2. For lateral flow immunoassay reagents: add the blocker to the conjugate pad or sample pad treatment solution. For chemiluminescence & ELISA reagents: add to magnetic bead solution or enzyme conjugate solution, or directly into the sample dilution buffer. For immunoturbidimetric products: add to R1 working reagent.
3. It is recommended to test a variety of blocking agents to identify a suitable single blocking agent product or a combination of blocking agent products for use.
