Determine the necessary mass, volume, or concentration for preparing a solution.
MS medium is the most widely used basal medium in the field of plant tissue culture. Featuring a high-concentration inorganic salt system, this medium fully supplies all mineral nutrients required for the growth and development of isolated plant tissues. It can effectively boost callus proliferation and growth, and provides stable nutritional support for the differentiation and regeneration of plant explants. The inorganic nutrient components of MS medium are scientifically formulated with balanced proportions, which perfectly match the nutritional demands and physiological characteristics of plant cell growth. For routine plant tissue culture experiments, no extra organic additives such as amino acids, casein hydrolysate, yeast extract or coconut water are required, as the basal nutrients can satisfy the in vitro culture demands of the vast majority of plant species. In terms of application scenarios, solid MS medium has versatile uses: it can be applied for callus induction and subculture, and is compatible with the in vitro cultivation of various plant explants including embryos, stem segments, shoot tips and anthers. The corresponding liquid MS medium is directly used for plant cell suspension culture; it efficiently sustains normal cellular growth and metabolism, delivering excellent culture success rate and stability.

Instructions for Use:
1. Accurately weigh 41.74g of this product and add it to 1 L of distilled water. Stir until the powder dissolves completely to prepare a homogeneous medium solution.
2. Sterilize the solution via autoclaving at 116 °C for 30 minutes. After sterilization, let it cool naturally in a clean environment, and the medium is then ready for plant tissue culture experiments.
Precautions:
1. Store at room temperature away from light; shelf life is 3 years.
2. This plant tissue culture medium adopts a full inorganic salt formula. Minor precipitation may occur after sterilization. Dissolve the powder in room-temperature water prior to autoclaving; heating for dissolution is not recommended.
3. This product is for research use only. Do not use it for pharmaceutical purposes, clinical diagnosis or treatment, food production, cosmetics manufacturing or other related applications. Do not store it in residential areas.
